Keep an eye out on my facebook page www.facebook.com/Route66LHSCycle for updates on prep and the ride itself from October the 4th.
cheers, LydiaOneChallengeAtATimehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06617821403182663586noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2146053859616329401.post-74172719856161173742013-04-18T04:23:38.346-07:002013-04-18T04:23:38.346-07:00If your first experience driving in the US -- on t...If your first experience driving in the US -- on the wrong side of the road, driving an automatic with the steering wheel on the wrong side, and in a downpour -- was in Boston and you made it to RI without mishap or nervous breakdown, you are going to be fine on the Route 66 ride! Also, it was nice of you to say the roads looked good, but honestly, the roads in RI are terrible -- you will find most other states keep their roads in MUCH better shape.

Don't let the guidebooks scare you about the section of 66 that goes through "The Dreaded Mojave." The roads are winding but in generally good repair, and the scenery is AMAZING. Just watch out for donkey poo on the streets of Oatman, AZ. :)Mariahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02319810567723643844noreply@blogger.com
